2nd Annual Fall Fair
Saturday September 30, 2017
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
This event is co-hosted by: Guelph Community Food Forest & Hanlon Creek Neighbourhood Group
To all of our food forest friends, supporters, and enthusiasts!
This is an invitation to join us in celebrating at our 2nd Annual Fall Fair which will be located on the garden’s site:
University Village Park at 91 Ironwood Rd.
We will be unveiling our new outdoor classroom! Thank-you to TD Friends of the Environment for the funding for this!
Come and take a tour to discover what’s is in the garden, learn about the variety of trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. Also learn about how to collect and store seeds and about some of the plants that are edible and medicinal. We will have some homemade tea to try as well.
Tours will run at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. followed by workshops. Stop by anytime!
You can also join in on planting new trees and shrubs in the garden and help do some maintenance work.
Hanlon Creek Neighbourhood group will be joining in on the fun with refreshments and crafts.
Is there any where with better family fun for all ages, a good community event and time enjoying the outdoors??? No way! See you there.
*The Guelph Community Food Forest project is a volunteer-led edible forest that serves as an educational hub for sustainable food production. We envision that this project and ones similar will lead to more food security and biodiversity in our city now and in the future.
